The Qur’an offers several arguments that are meant to prove its divine origin. In Surah 4, verse 82, for instance, Allah claims that if the Qur’an were not from Allah, we would find “much contradiction” in it. In this video, former Muslim Al Fadi and David Wood examine the “Argument from Internal Consistency.”

Allah saved Pharaoh’s body after he drowned so people can see him, and his demise and take it as an example. Otherwise the body could have easily been lost in the sea

The Jews and Christians who followed the message of their respective prophets sent down to them for that specific timeline will be sent to Jannah, not in the present time. Again no consideration of context in your claims

Abraham was being sarcastic about calling the sun moon and other stuff the GOD, he was trying to make a point to show his nation what they were doing wrong.

You are constantly missing the context in each of these examples. This is purely stupid. No context, no explanation on the verses, why and at what time they were revealed.

It has to be “MUCH” contradictions because it would be written by Humans and humans are limited beings which lead to having more “contradictions”.

Quran claims you can’t write something like it, it does not mean something that only contains truth. You have to consider the format of the Quran. The stylistics of how it’s written and how the message is conveyed.

Regarding the 6 and 8 days contradiction. The verses 41:9-12 do not explicitly mention 8 days, it says that the Earth was created in 2 days, the life/sustenance in 4 days, and the heavens in 2 days. There is an Arabic word used “SUMMA” which can also mean simultaneously, so it is not hard for a logical person to conclude that these were created simultaneously in a total of 6 days.

Had it been explicitly mentioned that they were created in 6 days in one place and 8 in other, then it would be a contradiction.

Since you guys are not even capable of considering the different meanings of Arabic words, which highly influence the end meaning of a verse, I would request to have a one-on-one session with experts so the truth can be uncovered. This way you are confusing many people and spreading false information.

this is a very good video and i agree with it but i’m kinda bummed that the comments (mostly reply’s to comments) are stupid toxic and are full of zealots who can fathom the idea of other opinions, anyways thanks for the video and also any angry comments this might get will only prove my point

16:29 - Verse 2:183 and first part of verse 2:184 are referring to “obligatory fasting” specified for a period of countable days (i.e. month of Ramadan): {O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous - (184) [Fasting for] a limited number of days. So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] - then an equal number of other days [are to be made up].}

While the second part of verse 2:184 is referring to the “voluntary giving of extra ransom beside the compulsory payed amount of ransom” from those who [can fast but] find chronic hardship in fasting [or making-up for it] (due to old-age or excessive/pathological thirst e.g. Polydepsia): {And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] - a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day]. And whoever volunteers good [i.e., excess] - it is better for him. But to fast is best for you, if you only knew.} -Hope this clears any confusion :green_heart:

P.S.: Please note while interpreting quranic verses “all relevant verses, throughout the Quran, must betaken onto account, alongside the Prophet’s instructions”, and non to be ignored or neglected; For he has recommended* all believers before his death to follow both “the Quran & his family members (who take after the Prophet in his words and actions)” and confirmed that “They - both - wont split until they - both - meet him at the Basin [in paradise]”.

*Original text of the Prophet’s (ﷺ) Will: “Indeed, I am leaving among you the Two Weighty Things, that which if you hold fast to them, you shall not be misguided after me. One of them is greater than the other: The Book of Allah is a rope extended from the sky to the earth, and my family - the people of my house - and they shall not split until they meet me at the Hawd, so look at how you deal with them after me.”

13:58 - Please don’t fabricate! Verse 4:43 is only “prohibiting performing prayer while ‘unsober’ (because “mindfulness” is one of the conditions for the validity of a prayer)” and never mentioned anything about the permissibility of drinking alcoholic drinks, which (any reasonable human can tell that) is not the same thing: {O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying … Indeed, Allāh is ever Pardoning and Forgiving} - May peace be in your heart

hello im an arabic muslim and i took a look at all the verses and it seems that you need a third party member to explain what you’ve called contradiction
for example if Allah said “nothing” or “dust” or “mud”
this is not a contradiction
because we know that the human had phases in its creation(and dont mix that with the phases of the Embryo)
also about fasting in 2-183 he said that we must fast during a specific amount of days and in 2-184 there is an exception to the ill and the traveller(that stays days in its way)
so no contradictions "you all must fast except those… "
there is so much missunderstanding so i really hope you get a third party member to understand the quoran better
i hope the best for all of you and i hope god guide all of us to the right way

Indeed {And We have certainly diversified in this Qur’ān for the people from every [kind of] example; but man has ever been, most of anything, [prone to] dispute.} [The Cave (18):54}

Indeed {Man was created of haste [i.e., impatience]. I will show you My signs [i.e., vengeance], so do not impatiently urge Me.} [The Prophets (21):37]

Indeed {“And you [i.e., mankind] have not been given of knowledge except a little."} [The Night Walk (17):85]

God is saying if it were human who wrote it there would be much contradictions no that because he wrote it there’s not much contradictions, in addition to this god said muhammad is the first muslim and moses is the first believer not muslim

Thanks to Al Fadi and Docteur Wood!! I hope that muslims will stop spreading lies across the world.

If any of you guys are watching this thinking that this is video is so revealing, know that he has taken every single verse out of context. Welcome to David Wood… If you guys truly believe that he is right then you wouldn’t mind seeing the other side of the spectrum and listen to muslim scholars. I’m a muslim and I still give the intellectual epistemic respect to listen to what Sheikh David Wood’s been saying. That’s 'cuz I believe in islam so much that i’m not reluctant on watching his videos. If you guys are not reluctant to find out what contexts those verses were in then I suggest you go listen to Sheikh Shabir Ally or other good Scholars. May Allah bless you all.

You all incorrect, don’t study the quran in stand alone verse and ignoring the context.

So easy you don’t even have to learn Arabic to judge or interpret lol

Everything is created from nothing

Qur’an 10:47 states
And for every nation is a messenger. So when their messenger comes, it will be judged between them in justice, and they will not be wronged

Qur’an 2:125 states
And ˹remember˺ when We made the Sacred House1 a centre and a sanctuary for the people ˹saying˺, “˹You may˺ take the standing-place of Abraham2 as a site of prayer.” And We entrusted Abraham and Ishmael to purify My House for those who circle it, who meditate in it, and who bow and prostrate themselves ˹in prayer˺.

Qur’an 2:126 states
And ˹remember˺ when Abraham said, “My Lord, make this city ˹of Mecca˺ secure and provide fruits to its people—those among them who believe in Allah and the Last Day.” He answered, “As for those who disbelieve, I will let them enjoy themselves for a little while, then I will condemn them to the torment of the Fire. What an evil destination!”

Qur’an 2:127 states
And ˹remember˺ when Abraham raised the foundation of the House with Ishmael, ˹both praying,˺ “Our Lord! Accept ˹this˺ from us. You are indeed the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

Qur’an 2:128 states
Our Lord! Make us both ˹fully˺ submit to You1 and from our descendants a nation that will submit to you. Show us our rituals, and turn to us in grace. You are truly the Accepter of Repentance, Most Merciful.

Qur’an 2:129 states
Our Lord! Raise from among them a messenger who will recite to them Your revelations, teach them the Book and wisdom, and purify them. Indeed, You ˹alone˺ are the Almighty, All-Wise.”

Where is it written that they were sent to the arabs? There mission was to build the Kaaba. Not to lead the people. And in the last verse(129) well indicated that a messenger from among them who will recite the words
Of God to them. Which justify that Abraham and Ishmael where not sent to the arabs.
Qur’an 28:46 states
And you were not at the side of Mount Ṭûr when We called out ˹to Moses˺. But ˹you have been sent˺ as a mercy from your Lord to warn a people to whom no warner has come before you, so perhaps they may be mindful.

Qur’an 6:14 states
Say, “Is it other than Allah I should take as a protector, Creator of the heavens and the earth, while it is He who feeds and is not fed?” Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to be the first [among you] who submit [to Allah ] and [was commanded], ‘Do not ever be of the polytheists.’ "
Be the first (among you), among you is talking about his followers. That he Should submit first before them. Because you cannot ask me to worship this and you’re not doing so.

Qur’an 7:143 states
And when Moses arrived at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, “My Lord, show me [Yourself] that I may look at You.” [ Allah ] said, “You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it should remain in place, then you will see Me.” But when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He rendered it level, and Moses fell unconscious. And when he awoke, he said, “Exalted are You! I have repented to You, and I am the first of the believers.”

He’s the first of the believers during his time of prophecy.
How can you be the first Muslim when there were millions or even billions that lived before you.

My brother and sisters these people are broadcasted to deceive you. Be mindful.

Qur’an 2:29 states
It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things.

How can you turn to something that’s not existing and make it into seven?

Qur’an 79:27 states
Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it.

Qur’an 79:28 states
He raised its ceiling and proportioned it.

Qur’an 79:29 states
And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness.

Qur’an 79:30 states
And after that He spread the earth.

Where’s the contradiction?
Logically is like you starting to create A first and stop then go to B, and pause again to continue the other one. You’re creating it simultaneously.

Simple logic and we’re good to go.
