On the other hand, more than 24,000 deadly terrorist attacks since 9-11, along with the recent advance of jihadist groups like the Islamic State (ISIS), demand our attention. How can we confront intolerance without becoming intolerant? How can we protect ourselves from jihadists while also protecting peaceful Muslims from discrimination?

The gospel is by nature offensive. But truth must be proclaimed. Because that is loving.

I mean no offense when I say Farhan sounds weak, a little whiny, and not very convicted about what he believes; if he sounds this way to me, I can only imagine how he sounds to a fanatic of any faith. Again I mean no offence, and love him as a brother, I just wanted to communicate the point that warm fuzzy evangelism doesn’t work in many situations. When you make someone angry by forcefully questioning their beliefs, many times this is the best way to make them examine your position just to prove you wrong. David is living proof of this. Anytime I challenge someone in a ‘Christian based cult’ (Islam almost qualifies lol), when they say that the evidence presented (scripture, whether personally shared, on video, etc.) is wrong; I ask them to please prove me wrong from the Bible in context. Some people answer the challenge, others like a long term friend seduced and deceived by the word of faith/prosperity heresy sadly have been deceived into believing that “arguing about the scriptures among believers is of the Devil”, however the seed is there, and all I can do is pray that the Holy Spirit would open her eyes to His truth, before it’s too late (I am not the Holy Spirit, so I am not the one to soften their heart, as John MacArthur says “I don’t do soil work, that’s up to the Holy Spirit, I’m just told to plant the seeds”). I ask others reading this to pray for her and others caught in that demonic deception as well.
Just like a toddler that learns that they can get their way by throwing tantrums, and acting out, radical Muslims have learned to bully, and act out to get their way, and it’s everyone’s fault for teaching them that this is the best way to get their way.
Christianity is a strong enough faith that no matter how hard it is attacked, no matter how much Christianity is mocked Christianity keeps growing and keeps strengthening. Islam is so weak of a religion that even the simplest criticism needs to be censored because Islam cannot stand under it.
