Jesus wrote in the dirt.

What does he think they saw then? Aliens?

One of the best interviews I’ve ever seen. Mate you need to do more of these with more non Christians.

Yusuf Estes is a liar like Moh who said Jibril squeezed him.

52:10. That back fired big time on the Christian!

I agree and disagree with so much of what Bart says here.

Gotta say that God having Jesus let the demons and fallen angels into the open for judgement of whole civilizations…and End Times signs and prophecies coming true, as well as the miracles demon cast outs, etc… definitely are a bit of a giveaway that Jesus Christ is not a myth but is Lord. Well, at least the Holy Trinity are making it easy for us!

I have to say: ‘Christians make me sick to my stomach.’
When moshiach eventually gets here, even if he is called ‘Jesus’, they have a big shock coming.

If Quran picked up Basilides version of crucifixion how did Muhammad knew about the gospel?

Jesus made clay pigeons?
Jesus was a target shooter confirmed.

Sad to say that B.Ehrmans carnal sinful nature won out over The Truth that Jesus Christ is the Savior and Lord of Lords is . He is a intellectual educated Fool that sold his soul !

they are funny these two guys when they start talking about the Quran and accusing an illiterate Man prophet Muhammed (pbuh) ( who doesn’t know reading and writing ) of copying & modifying the verses from infancy gosopels … do they know what does mean “illiterate” at least ?:sweat_smile:

prophet Muhammed (pbuh) was illiterate… many reports from many people says so , and the most important important report The Quran declared that Muhammed was illiterate… and yet these guys say Muhammed (pbuh) was taking his informations from the apocryphal books… maybe they don’t know what does mean " illiterate" ::: illiterate means someone who doesn’t know writing or reading… i feel these guys needs to go back to school to learn the basic english words before talking about the scriptures.

I will be criticised for questioning the wisdom of you welcoming someone who already gets far too much publicity and adoration,. Surely far too much of that to be healthy even for an self identified elite academic. The thing that frustrates me about this expert in what he regards as worthless in practice, is that he often flawed comments and often remains unchallenged with those even then they are clearly questionable at best. He made a fuss quite recently questioning Jesus’ extra time teaching of the disciples for 40 days post resurrection. He did that by playing on a simplistic view of what was happening, but any elite educator knows that you can never spent too much time learning, reflecting, testing and so on. Jesus’ time for a more through scrutiny of the OT links to what happened could only really have happened post-resurrection and that’s one of the things that made it powerfully reflective for them. Bias is not a qualification for academic excellence. Presumably you have a reason for this collaboration and I hope that it works for you, but his agendas aren’t ever going to work with yours and he will lap up the extra attention and validation. I know that you are into apologetics and Paul did that, I’ve done my best to often do the same, but there are limits and practical reasons why the disciples were told to shake off the dust of unbelievers after a certain time. Debunking him seems the only answer, but he is experienced enough to make that a real challenge, but he remains vulnerable in certain areas. I saw some “Ehrman speak” copied from by one of your many enemies, someone who posted from this encounter. In that extract, Ehrman was shown actively misrepresenting the disciples views of Jesus as Messiah. At those moments I am sometimes like those people who see an open Ehrman goal and can’t see why their players, his supposed opponents, keep missing it. The threat from him is actually not so much what he knows, but what he knows to leave out and avoid so I suggest that you bear that in mind if you do this again. Also be aware that underneath that apparently benign and fatherly smile is a dedicated enemy of God and the Gospel, someone who is more than happy to overclaim and very to willingly lead many astray if he can. He is the debater who told his adoring fans on another site that his most recent 7hr opponent was just not up to it to start with. So rude.

Bart Erhman actually helped me a lot. The so called Jesus mythisist thing gave me lots of sleepless nights. I always take doubt as a good thing because that helped me coming out of Islam and accept Christ (no credit for me, its His Grace only). However, Mr. Erhman helped me cleared those doubts about Jesus never existed scam. I pray for him and wish him success.

Jesus is still there. Have people tried asking for him to appear to them. Or even for the healings and miracles?

The Antichrist is coming, so the atheists even know that Jesus is real!
