Knowledge of Languages: Paul vs. Muhammad (PvM 5)

Muslims claim that a revelation from God can only be understood in its original language. Since Jesus came with revelations from God, we have to ask, who could understand those revelations in the original language—Paul or Muhammad?

This video is the fifth comparison in David Wood’s “Paul vs. Muhammad” series.

For more problems with the Islamic claim that revelations can only be understood in the original language, be sure to watch “Why the Quran Was Revealed in Arabic”: - YouTube

As an Egyptian, the Arabic of the qur’an is literally unreadable/illegible . That’s the reason why muslims rely on their scholars for interpretation and never get to directly read what the sources say; simply because they can’t read it.

Both Christians and Muslims in Indonesia Also called the ‘Gospel’ → “Injil” !

To be honest, if there is a Matthew in Hebrew as Nehemia Gordon States, then surely the other Gospels were originally in Hebrew.

Thank you for bringing that up. They like saying than nonfactor as a factor. I’m gonna throw this spanner in their wheel next time

Paulos spoke Hebrew , Aramaic , Greek and Latin .Muhammad barely spoke his own native tongue .

Please make a Challenge of Prayer Christian and Islam whose God is real, whose God can give the answer for Prayer? I never heard of Allah healed Deaf, Blind, cancer, stroke etc, but i did see only in the name of Jesus

Gotten a Muslim add on every video

I dont really get that, Muslims can also claim that Muhammad can somehow understand Aramic, Greek, Hebrew too with divine intervention, right? But if we can somehow prove that he cant, it would have to mean that the prophet is forging his own divine revelations!

What’s your point? Muhammad couldn’t read or write, but you guy say he wrote the Quran, a book which any Arab who understands Arabic literature will tell you is incomparable in it’s literary prowess. So again,This is a talk about prophethood so it’s only natural that a prophet , Muhammad, knew what he was talking about as it was told to him by God.

Muhammad, The False Prophet Said: “I have fabricated things against God and have imputed to Him words which He has not spoken.”
~MUHAMMAD (Al-Tabari 6:111)

“But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.”
Deuteronomy 18:20

I tend to agree with the philosopher Martin Heidegger that “translation is the height of superficiality”. Words in a language have meanings that have no equivalent in other languages. Ex) the Trinity, in English is three “persons”, but this is a translation of the Latin word “personae” which originally meant mask. But in Greek it is three “hypostases” or foundations or assurances. The same thing Hebrews 11.1 says faith is in relation to things hoped for. And the pagan philosopher Plotinus said was what the soul is to the body. Historically these linguistic difference lead to major doctrinal schisms. I disagree with Muslims on a lot of things, but I have to grant them this one.

The double standards of muslims points us to the fact that their teachings are hypocritical.

There are quite a number of foreign word is the Quran.
So, there is no such thing as perfect Arabic !!

It amazes me that there can be so many Muslims when their religious materials are so full of error. How do they get modern, supposedly educated people to believe all of this error and contradiction?

Who would ever follow Islam? Anybody with half a brain cell will know that if you have sources that cannot be verified, that contradict each other and that have been proven false! If one thing is FALSE the whole thing is FALSE. The word of God has no hole in it any where! Islam and all its sources on the other hand have been riddled with a machine gun!!! LOL!!
These poor muslims will find out the truth about about their false religion when they die. By then it’ll be too late for them.

The word euangélion looks like evangelion, which is used in the title of an anime: Neon Genesis Evengelion. I heard that that anime uses a lot of Christian symbols, but they only used the symbols because they thought it looked cool, not because they wanted to spread the word of God. This is not me doubting the quality of the anime, it is popular for a reason. I’m just saying that the Japanese did not know what they were doing. The Japanese did make a manga about Jesus, and even though the story may have been accurate, the Japanese writer of the manga could not stop themselves from adding the usual creative, and colorful character designs the Japanese are known for, one of his disciples had purple hair and another had red hair.
