If I was Anders Breivik I would get radicalized & leave Islam firstly & inform/educate ppl about the reality of Islam, dedicate my life to it confront Muslims with the facts & truth & expose them. So… Note to potential terrorists: Don’t bother!!! Looks like Breivik got it wrong after all when he thought that a terror attack would make his point crystal clear. But he should’ve known better. I mean, how many times has a man blown himself and others up, shouting, “Allahu akbar,” and the media responds with, “Police are still searching for a motive”? So, guess we shouldn’t be surprised that Breivik’s point got completely upended by the media, too. The only justification I can possibly see for this apparently blatant deception is that no one wanted to actually bother to read 1500 pages so they just ran it through a computer program to count the number of times the words “Robert Spencer” showed up. So thank you, David, for wading through the 1500 pages to come to this very clear and succinct summing-up. If only everyone who saw the original news reports could see this as well.
The only part of the Quran that calls for killing of other peoples relates to a war in which Muslims were being subjected to horrific treatment and being slaughtered in their thousands. It was a call to fight against that slaughter, it was a war. Taking these things out of context is the only way the truly ignorant can try to demonise Islam.
For every passage relating to that war, there are 5 other passages in the Quran that tell Muslims to resect and protect those of the Book… Thats Jews and Christians. It also says that killing even one person is akin to killing the whole human race. As is saving one person akin to saving the whole human race.
So you can take as many passages of the Quran as you want out of context, but it just makes you look stupid and ignorant. As does the maker of this video.
