Quran Miracles: The Argument from Literary Excellence

The central argument for the divine inspiration of the Qur’an is found in Surah 2:23, which claims that the Qur’an must be the word of Allah because no one can produce a chapter like it. This so-called “Argument from Literary Excellence,” or “Argument from Inimitability,” fails on multiple levels.

Sir you should educate yourself. The Quran is miraculous in its original Arabic form that survives to this day like no other book has. Only one book. How many versions of the bible do you have again? Also for linguistic miracles that make the Quran impossible to replicate, Listen to Nouman Ali Khan’s Divine Speech series. It might surprise you a lot. Open your ears and your heart to a different viewpoint, and you may just find the truth.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:read it in arabic idiot you idiot i actually litle bit confused when watched the thumbnail after caming in he was translating the verses you moron :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Sir, you didn’t read it in Arabic. You need to see that it is very consistent and precise. Check it out. It may amaze you.

I lost a few hundred brain cells listening to this, that’s not the challenge?
the challenge(extremely summarized) is to produce something like it in its unique literary form(and has to be equalent)

Hi from Pakistan :fist::heart::pray:

Mohammad had a problem he didn’t know how to shut up :zipper_mouth_face:
More he talked more pooped out.
He seems mentally unstable man. One time one thing and soon later totally opposite :laughing:

Dirty ignorant rogue if you are sooooo intelligent and clever produce a chapter like 112 .It should be better than this chapter. With linguistic parameters. Like perfect grammar rhyme message phonetic …idiot

I just don’t get why people actually believe in this bullshit book, it’s just such a fucking stupid book!

Fucking Hilarious!

LOL , are these people for real, he challenged the Arab people of that time, they were proficient in literature which was in the Arabic language .what u don’t know is that there are two falsification tests in the Quaran the fist is for the non-believers from arab people and the second one for people who doesn’t speak Arabic and that is to prove that the miracles, event will happen in the future and scientific thing which the quaran mentioned are false .

The argument from literary excellence only applies when the Quran is studied in classical Arabic. And yet you have the utter stupidity and arrogance to claim that the Quran would be no different in its original language, despite the fact that you know less of it than a 3 year old. Someone who is prepared to speak so confidently on a subject they know nothing about is not intellectually honest and should be completely ignored.

There are several problems with
the challenge itself.
One is that who decides the
criteria for something “like it”? That has not beenspecified so I suppose it’s
up to individual interpretation. Another problem is that lets say we agreed on
what would be “like” the Quran and no one managed to complete the challenge,
does that mean that therefore the Quran is from a divine source? Nope. We don’t
know that nobody can come up with anything like it and that doesn’t justify us
in the meantime to believe it’s from a supernatural source. We have not
demonstrated that it is in fact impossible for a human being to come up with a
chapter like it and even if we could demonstrate that, that still doesn’t
justify us making any conclusions about the origins/ source of it. At best we
would know it’s not from humans but from “some other thing”. We don’t
know that this “some other thing” is outside of the natural world for
us to say it is supernatural.

I asked an ex-muslim to write to revelations from Allah they are miraculous verses! A miracle!

The book of infidel Verse 1 Chapter 1
في مرج من الأفكار الشريرة كل زهرة واحدة مثالية.

The Book of infidel Verse 2 Chapter 1

The Challenge

Some Muslims claim the
Quran itself is perfectly written, and since they claim Muhammad was illiterate, the Quran must be written by Allah. This rather strange claim is related to what is known as the “Quran Challenge.”

Surat Al-Baqarah 2:23
reads, “And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant
[Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses
other than Allah, if you should be truthful.” This so-called “challenge” has been met by countless individuals through the ages who have produced Arabic
poetry similar to that found in the Quran, most notably 11th century Syrian philosopher and
skeptic Abul ʿAla Al-Maʿarri. But Muslims reject this and any other
attempt to meet their so-called “challenge.”
The reason for this is obvious.

Who determines if the
challenge is met? Muslims? Is there
really any Muslim on earth whose faith is so weak they would stop believing in
Allah simply because someone wrote something similar to what is found in the
Quran? This “challenge” then becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy whereby
Muslims will say anything written before or after the Quran which meets this
so-called “challenge” is not enough like the Quran. This
is a matter of subjective literary opinion.

Judging Poetry

Some claim the Quran
contains poetry unlike that found anywhere else. I personally prefer Edgar Allen Poe or Robert Frost, but the Bible contains poetry much like what is found in the Quran. The entire book of Psalms is poetry. There is even poetry in Exodus and Numbers. In fact, the Quran acknowledges its challenge has already been met by Moses.

Surat Al-Qaşaş 28:49-50
reads, “But when the truth came to them from Us, they said, ‘Why was he not
given like that which was given to Moses?’ Did they not disbelieve in that
which was given to Moses before? They said, ‘[They are but] two works of magic supporting each other, and indeed we are, in both, disbelievers.’ Say, ‘Then bring a scripture from Allah which is more guiding than either of them that I may follow it, if you should be truthful.’”

So here we have the
poetry and prose of Muhammad being compared to that of Moses, whereby that of Moses is implied to be
superior, and the challenge is altered to request anything “more guiding”
and “from Allah.” Well, who is to say what is from Allah and what’s not?

Muhammad claimed to be the last prophet but so did Joseph Smith
and countless others.
There is no evidence the Quran is from Allah. If poetry is to be our standard
for meeting that burden of proof then one might just as well say any random Nightwish album is from Allah. The Quran apparently isn’t even a good guide considering the nations which have adopted it are some of the most technologically and socially backwards nations on earth.

The Dalai Lama has said,
“If scientific analysis were conclusively to
demonstrate certain claims in Buddhism to be false, then we must accept the
findings of science and abandon those claims.”

Muslim Grammar Nazi

Some claim the Quran
contains perfect grammar. But numerous grammatical errors are EVERYWHERE. Even if the Quran was absent of any grammatical
errors, so what? There are thousands
of books without grammatical errors. That doesn’t mean they were authored by a
god speaking though an angel.

Muhammad didn’t write the Quran anyway so it doesn’t matter if he
was or wasn’t illiterate. The first Caliph, Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, ordered the compilation now
known as “The Quran” after Muhammad died in 632 AD. This compilation was
gathered from the writings of Muhammad’s followers who had written some of it
on leaves, leather, bones, stones and cloth. Some of it was recorded only
according to what his followers remembered. The writings were then put in the
order they appear in today. But
Arabic grammar was ambiguous at the time due in part to the lack of dots denoting proper pronunciation. Thus when copies of this text were produced in Arabic and other languages, variations became abundant. The third Caliph, Uthman ibn Affan, ordered a council in 650 AD to clarify these discrepancies in what is known as the Uthmanic recension. From this we have the
current version of the Quran. Many other versions were
burnt to avoid further controversy.

“Let no one of you say that he has acuired the entire Qur’an, for how does he know that is all? Much of the Qur’an has been lost! Thus let him say “I have acquired what is
available.”” -Ibn Umar As-suyuti, Al-itqan fi Ulum al-Qu’ran

“Uthman
sent to every muslim province one copy of what they had copied, and ordered that all the other Qur’anic materials, whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, be burnt.” -Sahih Al-Bukhari 6.61.510

(Translation= Burn the Qu’ranic materials that could discredit our book/regime. Evil laughter)

Are you really this dumb, or you get paid by your foolish audience to act like one… It is like if you translate Shakespeare’s work in urdu… Then ask the urdu reader if it is the best :joy:… Same is the case here, God sent the words in Arabic because the prophet pbuh was born in Arab… If he was born in England, the Quran would have been in English… All the poetic devices of the quran are lost when translated… Do your shit filled head a favour. And ask any person who is master in Arabic language… And let be from any religion except islam… He will tell you the excellency of the verses… It was one of the reasons why people at the time of prophet phuh accepted islam… Because such words were never seen in the land before… And a clean shaved gay christian sitting on his lazy ass, who probably doesnt even know any other language, somehow becomes expert in the language he doesnt understand word of. No wonder your audience is all mentally retarded pricks. Because no intelligent person would agree with your braindead arguments… Atleast if you have to target islam get someone who has knowledge of what he is dealing with… You dumb cunt:joy::joy:

CROSS DRESSING shallow idiot who’s argument isn’t worth the toilet paper wiping one’s ass

Translate lord of the rings into arabic and you have an even better book🤷‍♂️ yes my precious!

Both of them are complete idiots, you have to produce a chapter or somewhat similar in Arabic not in English! My God is that so much hard to understand?

The shortest Surah of the Quran has 41 rhetorical devices, try your best dude. You’ll fail
