Reza Aslan: Twisting Christian Scriptures for the Sake of Allah

In his book “Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth,” creative writing professor Reza Aslan (who claims to be a scholar of religions) argues that Jesus was not a man of peace, but instead was a violent jihadist who wanted to destroy the Roman occupiers of Israel. In order to maintain such a position, however, Aslan must reinterpret Jesus’ peaceful teachings. In this video, David Wood, Sam Shamoun, and Robert Spencer show how Aslan takes peaceful Bible verses and twists them into calls for bloodshed.

Raza Arslan is a joke.

Reza Aslan is a circus clown.

Lol these people will say whatever they can to turn everything and anything into proof their evil religion is true and they can’t seem to think for themselves that the vilolence isn’t normal or moral…not moral according to the real god…the christain god

Loving Brothers, let your research and services continue. It’s very informative… May GOD Almighty bless you all and bless you with more and more wisdom…

Hold on, Jesus of Nazareth had little to do with the creation of Christianity.

Reza Aslan is full of shit regarding various topics, however, this particular topic is really something he is well educated at.
I would like to see you guys debate him on this. Before this I honestly thought that R. Spencer was an atheist, I can`t believe he so brilliantly dismantles Islam, whilst still believing in another superstitious doctrine…

hi I am Studying Bible want to ask few question
1-is Christianity start after the death of Jesus on the cross or before according to christian
faith please ?
2-was Moses(PBUH)message was same like Jesus(PBUH) iF yes then what went wrong That Jesus (PBUH) had to come ? or Jesus(PBUH) had to come with different message ?

Reza Aslan exploited the uninformed…the theologically illiterates pay a lot of money to buy his thrashy books. Unfortunately I was one of them. Not anymore. Thanks to your YouTube resources, I have since become more informed. Thank you guys!

keep the good work guys god bless yous all .

Ok you guys made some great points…but how many degrees do you have? Are you scholars?

LOL

I heard about this guy, Aslan, to find a contrivance of ideology that makes the Decalogue a revolutionary screed is something only the Ummah can provide. He is forwarding the Modernist-Marxist Jesus theme long rejected by the doctors of the Faith.

Nothing I enjoy more than reading Resa Aslan, a practicing Muslim, do more than pick out inconsistencies in the Bible. Of course, Aslan believes everything in the Koran is true, and that the Koran was dictated to Muhammad, the perfect man, by Gabriel the Angel, from Allah.
I mean it’s just great to hear someone who thinks the Koran is the perfect word of God complain the Bible is fiction. I guess it’s just easier to hear it from an atheist. Then I don’t get the hypocrisy along with the academic posturing.

So in other words Reza Aslan is one of the “Jesus was a socialist” guy’s.

everything that guys says is raising more Questions then he actually answers

3 Evils…

The fact that a religious movement survived adversity and became popular is not necessarily indicative of it’s truth. If that were the case, Islam would be true ! Christianity became popular and universal because the myth of Jesus is appealing and the Romans adopted it as state religion…

After the crucifixion more people followed him,. The apostles died defending their faith, they died for something they deeply believed in.
Today we still have true Christians dying for their beliefs.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20 KJV)

In this scripture where Jesus says teach all nations, the Greek word is “ethnos” where we get the word ethnic. Jesus was instructing His disciples to go out into the world and make other disciples (pupils) from all ethnicities.
This was no longer to be “Only” to the house of ethnic Israel.
